NFL news: Woman arrested for attempted extortion against Damian Williams
Shelley Anne David, a 22-year-old Tennessee woman, has been busted for attempting to extort Titans wide receiver Damian Williams.
Early this month, David filed a domestic assault complaint against Williams. She planned to meet with Williams and extort $5,000 from him in exchange for not pressing charges.

Upon meeting with him, she took a $5,000 cashier’s check and gave Williams a signed note claiming she wouldn’t appear in any court proceedings.
Little did she know, undercover police were monitoring the meeting. They arrested her afterwards.
